# Phase 1 — Auth + JWT Issue

Post-unlock step: confirm Spark payment and obtain a 30-day JWT for agent upload on isolated Cherry.

## When to run

After [Pay Gate Checkout](/clarity-docs/consumer-walkthrough/02-pay-gate-checkout.md) shows **CONFIRMED** and before uploading agents to Cherry.

## Issue token

```bash
curl -X POST https://api.clarity-fintech.com/v1/auth/issue-token \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{
    "status": "CONFIRMED",
    "offer_id": "dev_portal_execution_billing",
    "customer_email": "you@example.com",
    "merchant_id": "clarity_fintech_master_01"
  }'
```

## Verify access (smoke test)

From your private node checkout:

```bash
bash scripts/verify_access.sh
```

Or verify via API:

```bash
curl -X POST https://api.clarity-fintech.com/v1/auth/verify \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -H 'Authorization: Bearer <JWT>' \
  -d '{"token": "<JWT>"}'
```

## Expected claims

| Field        | Value                    |
| ------------ | ------------------------ |
| `chainId`    | 1202                     |
| `nodeAccess` | `isolated_cherry_server` |
| `tier`       | Your checkout offer id   |
| Lifetime     | 30 days (HS256)          |

Store `jwtToken` securely — required for GitBook gating and upload scripts.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://clarity-7.gitbook.io/clarity-docs/agent-upload-after-unlock/upload-phase1-auth.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
